Health Concerns For The Leader Of The Third Largest Economy!

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has made several visits to the hospital this week sparking concerns about his ability to fulfill his term.  The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Akira Amari says that PM Abe will be able to fulfill his term, which ends next year in September.  Abe, is the country’s longest-serving prime minister, a record he surpassed this week on Monday.

Regardless of the leadership in Japan, one thing remains more critical to the Japanese people and that is the lack of gospel witness in the country.  After World War II, General Douglas MacArthur, in October 1945, urged the United States Christian Church to send a thousand missionaries to Japan.  Unfortunately, this did not happen!  Japan still needs a thousand missionaries; will you pray for God to raise up these labourers?
