W. Austin Gardner

Biography

Austin and Betty Gardner have been serving in church ministry since they were both nineteen years old. They were church-planting missionaries to the country of Peru, South America for 20 years. Austin and a team of men were able to start many churches in Peru, as well as a Bible college called Peru Baptist College.

Austin and Betty returned to the States in 2005, where he established the ministry of Vision Baptist Church and the Our Generation Training Center, a training program for missionaries, in Alpharetta, GA.

Austin and Betty have been married since August of 1973. They have four children–Chris, Stephanie, Joy, and David–who are all serving in the ministry today. They also have 21 grandchildren. The Gardners have a passion to train up leaders who are committed to the cause of evangelizing the world in our generation.

Austin is available to preach Monday through Wednesday all during the year. He will strive to be a blessing to your church, your young people, and your leaders. Possible topics might include: church-planting, leader-training, world-evangelism, missions, and discipleship.
